St. Petersburg, Florida offers a variety of activities year round, and with the break in the heat this week outdoor activities will be much more enjoyable! Take the opportunity to enjoy some sunshine filled activities while exploring our great city.
Beach Day at Fort De Soto Park: Enjoy the beautiful beaches at Fort De Soto Park. You can swim, sunbathe, play beach games, or even go kayaking or paddleboarding. Other than Clearwater Beach, this is the only dog-friendly beach along our shores. You and Fido can enjoy a fun day splashing along the sandy coast.
Biking on the Pinellas Trail: This protected greenspace, created along an abandoned railroad corridor, offers 75 miles and stretches from St. Petersburg to Tarpon Springs. Boat Tour of Tampa Bay: Take a boat tour to explore Tampa Bay, offering opportunities for dolphin watching, fishing, or simply enjoying the sights & sounds of the water.
Kayaking or Paddleboarding at Weedon Island Preserve: Rent a kayak or paddleboard and explore the mangroves and waterways at Weedon Island Preserve, which provides an excellent opportunity for wildlife viewing. Don't forget to bring your binoculars!
