You Can Change The Finishes In Your Home But You Cant Change The Location

This is a topic that goes beyond "Location Location Location".  Buyers should be looking at, and sellers should be accentuating, the qualities that the homes have that can be changed and cannot be changed. 


Do you know why location is so important? It's because it is unmodifiable. 

Other things that can't be changed or are not cost effective to change are: Pool (a $30,000 addition with a $8-$10,000 price adjustment), neighborhood, schools, power lines in your back yard, waterfront... the list goes on and on but make sure that you realize which items you are settling on that CAN be changed and which items you are settling on that CAN'T be changed
